REtroSPECT members Gold Castro, Ogie Ramos & J. Martin Castro has indeed gone a long way from the time they started playing retro cover songs at Strumm's El Pueblo, Hard Rock Café and Ratsky in 1997 and eventually released their self-titled album in 1998 under Dyna Music which spawned their original hit dance songs "Chika Doo" & "Party Time!" followed by "The Luv Bug" in 2002 from Alpha Music with their original radio hit "Bakit Nga Ba?" and their first revival album "Past Forward" released in 2004 again from Alpha Music featuring their funky version of "Shake Your Booty".
REtroSPECT continues to draw crowds in all their gigs and concerts and being cited by different music award giving bodies nationwide, year after year, as one of the most promising groups in the local music scene!
The year 2007 marks the reinvigoration of REtroSPECT via "GETAWAY" from the album "REtroSPECT Decade" under Godspeed Music label exclusively distributed by Ivory Music & Video, Inc.
